They will have plenty of water to fish. We have contacted all the people necessary to make sure that all locks will be open for this event allowing them to run from the launch,(which will be the city ramp off of simmons drive)as far north as they can get, over to the calcaseiu, also the neches and taylors bayou will be fishable waters.

Where all the people that have posted for a couple of years that BASS would never be allowed back to Falcon?

Wow, that amount of water to fish means we are going to see some awesome stringers! These guys are going to find some of those big uns out there. They might have to go through a few reds or other species, but it should be interesting.

Wow the second stop is a surprise, the first stop is a shock, I also heard they would never be back after all the fish care problems. That is a river heavy schedule.

If Falcon doesn't keep receiving water from Amistad it could hit 60ft by that time. I'm having a hard time coming up with words to describe what the "single" ramp scene during Spring time and adding a BASS event to it would look like. I don't see it happening under those conditions.

It should be a good tournament here with the amount of water they have to fish. And if they figure them out they wont have to run far at all. Me and my partner won the big Orange tournament here about two months ago with 3 fish the first day at a little over 9lbs and the 2nd day with 3 fish that went almost 7lbs. and that was in the heat of summer. This tournamament will do so much for the Orange community and economy it'll be unreal. My dad played a huge role in getting the Elite's to come here. He's the one who has been in so many conference calls and meetings with Jerry Mckinnis to make all this happen.

Very cool event! I have some amazing spots up the neches. Curious to see how many guys will risk that run

No doubt, there are so many places to fish. I'm sure there will be alot of gas burning over a four day period. Very anxious to see these guys run.

I guess the city came up with some cash for it since the publicity has slowed some for Falcon as of late.
