Hopefully, you also told them about the TFF. That way they can post the GPS coordinates........  But in all seriousness, if they are a novice, they might not understand "potlicking"

Anytime, and that does mean anytime you take someone fishing and you wack the fish, they are going to that spot over and over and over until they don't catchem. Period. Hope your buddy wasn't fishn the same tournament.

You musta been on some good fish! Sorry for your luck, been there and it's no fun. If you know him really well have a heart to heart and let him know how hard you work to find fish. That's about all u can do. you'll know next time.

The bent rod rod pattern really comes to mind when the Toyota Bass tournament was @ Fork several years ago. All the guys chasing and watching one day are on the same spots the next day. And these are some of the same ones that talk about the BRP. I guess when it gets down to it, everyone that's ever bass fished has done the same thing, so I guess when you actually show someone a spot you should talk about ground rules, and obviously people that pass by can do what they want.It's a vicious circle.

It sounds like you and a buddy went and prefished for a tourney and caught fish. You return to the lake and both feel entitled to the spot. Is there more to the story?
