For anyone that gets the Dallas Morning News Ray Sasser ran the article I sent him! I haven't been able to locate the article on line or would paste the link here. I texted our fundraising Officers to let them know it ran and will be sending Ray a thank you note. It's on the Outdoors Page today (Sunday) on the left side under briefs. I had sent a note back to Ray last week asking if he would include our web page and he did include it. So any press is good press. I posted this note separate from Jackson's main note so everyone that was interested would be able to go look. Was afraid if I put it in the main thread wouldn't get seen. Happy Fishing.

Jackson great idea taking a photo and posting it! I had called Terry T. to verify before sending Ray Sasser the cut and pasted URL link. So it was a typo when Ray had it typed up... So hopefully if someone types it in they will get some suggestions to the real site. I just went ahead and did a Google test leaving the "S" off and it brought it up. So hopefully were good there. Also just sent the thank you to Ray and copied the Officers and invited Ray out to speak to us. If he accepts will do another breakfast as a fundraiser like Pat (Filletmaker) suggested us doing. Great way to raise some more money.... Even if Ray can't come we could have our next meeting like that to raise some funds....

Having an event with a speaker is a great idea. I know the BPS has an event room that will hold a lot of people in it. John Varner has had a few instructiional classes held there and there was always a great turn out, standing room only.

Thanks Gene. Now that's an idea... May be better to do the dock thing again when it's a little cooler out. We are probably due for another meeting soon. Will see what Jackson and everyone thinks. We're making some good traction now! I can see the day in the not too distant future where we have pictures of little baby hibbies being released!

Due to schedule conflicts last week with the RHSA officers, Jackson opened the bank account on Wednesday, JV and I finalized the account on Friday at Captital One bank. The account is good to go! Our current balance is

$4,350 and still growing!

I attempted to open the Paypal account last Friday but I needed a few infos that Jackson will provide for me this week.

Let's do it Frank. You are in charge. (Remember that's how I got here)

September is right around the corner. Heck... October too. The temps should be more tolerable.
