Got a co worker that want to make a trip to Alan henry this month and I haven't been in several years. Last time I went we stayed in post at a motel. Is there any more options now?

They have some cabins right up the road from the ramp. I think it's called Alan Henry lodges or something like that. Looks pretty nice.

There are some cabin called Tripp's. it is right in front of where you turn into the lake to pay. It is literally 2 beds a concrete floor and a bathroom, pretty small, but it does the trick if all you are looking for is a place to crash.

All of the cabins close to Tripps were remodeled not long ago. Be shure to check out the food and 20oz frozen mug, draft beer at Ziskas at Justicburg. They got opened up this week.

Dry in 6 months! Coach you can say that about a lot of lakes in Texas. I have been surprised at the A. H. lake level. They were saying it would pull the lake down several feet just to fill up the pipe line and holding pawn. If the flood gate screw up had not of happened we would`nt be but 2 or 3 ft low. We at 7ft low. I do`nt think thats too bad in comparison to some other lakes.

I read lubbock was retracting all the water restrictions. If that is the case it will lose water fast. I think that is stupid but they will use a lot of water fast. I hope not. I really do, besides ute, its about the only bass lake near me.

Yep they dropped it back to level 1 from level 2 restrictions which is hardly any restrictions at all. Water is going to get real expensive.

people are dumb hammer

We are in a drought, but they think if they have the water now than use the heck out of it. That doesn't work- The City of Lubbock should have a picture of Meredith in the early 90's and 2012 so they can remember what happens you use too much water in a drought!
