I fished in a tournament last weekend and the tournament director weighed mine and almost everyone elses fish.....until a sponsor came to weigh in and he weighed his own fish,which it really didnt bother me....til he called out his weight and then after about 30 seconds ...looked down ,and called out a different weight which wasalmost a full pound difference more than what he called out. it really aggravated me and i told the director about it and he called the individual to the side and still allowed the weight to stand. am i wrong for being disgruntled/

If it weighed more after thirty secs it's prob because the fish stopped flopping and let the scales settle. If it was weighed again and the same weight showed no harm no foul. I wasn't there so I don't know but if I had to guess sounds like an honest mistake that has been apologized for already

I think the director let the weight stand because it must have been the correct weight.

My opinion is that you are upset and are not accepting the weight that must have been accepted by the other tourney fisherman.
And also that somebody that's close to you should tell you to let it go, it makes you look petty.
That's what I think.

Steady or not if it was re weighed and the same weight showed then the first weight would be the incorrect weight. I know it doesn't help your team to win but a mistake is a mistake. We are all human and that happens. It's best to let it go and focus your attention and time on the next lake to fish and how to win

If I felt that way I would not fish in a tourney by them again, that simple.
