Kayak fished the point by the free boat ramp south of Lavonia Park on Lake Lavon. Caught twenty White Bass, missed others, and kept five that were Keepers. Largest went 14" in size. Steady action with most striking while making a wide slow turn when changing direction. Fun stuff and even gotta a workout in! Video Clip.

PS: Tried Ticky Creek this morning and fished the leeward side as the wind was kicking up. Struck out on White Bass; but did catch two Gaspergou. Left the video camera at home; only one picture this time. Today's Picture.

North wind they will 90% of the time be at the dam somewhere. But the waves will get ya bad.

Made it out to Clear Lake Park on Lavon Wednesday evening and then Thursday morning. Caught a couple of Keepers Thursday, else it was catch and release. Lotta fun still, even used a short cut to get to the South side of the "Island"! Video Clip

Fished the Power Plant by Little Ridge Park this morning. Caught several White Bass casting in the discharge area but none were keepers. Did see others doing well though! Today's Video.

Fished Clear Lake (Lake Lavon) this morning with the kayak. Tried drifting for Catfish with Shad; had two nibbles but no hook ups. Switched to a Slab and Jig Rig.... Only two White Bass this round with only one Keeper. Still a fun time! Today's Video.

Got to Lavonia Park yesterday at 6ish and caught a few 2 sanbass and a crappie right away. Then slowed down until 11:30 and Started catching again. Mostly dinks but a successful day.
