I would like to make a suggestion. The last bass club I was in we had all the tourneys on Sunday. That gives people that work on Saturday a chance to participate and gives you the chance to get your gear, lunch, or whatever ready with plenty of time and not trying to do it Friday night afterwork. Thats a pain if you have to get up at 3AM to drive to a couple of hours to the lake. Sorry for my but I work the Saturday of the first tourney/meeting and won't be able to attend to make the suggestion there. Gotcha Todd will bring point up at meeting

I prolly won't make the meeting, but I'm with LuvPondFishing... Sundays would make me a no-show due to church.
...and the idea of rotating days is pretty good too. For instance, getting all the way to Grapevine on Thursdays for Rob's tourney won't happen for me, but if it was Monday or Saturday, I could swing it every now and then.

I plan to be at the LBJ Grasslands tourney. Maybe we can fish together. Can you refresh my memory? Where/when is the meeting? Is it a Lake Arlington (Richard Simpson Park) tonight at 7PM? If so, i might be able to make it after all. I had some plans cancel, but I now have to make sure my wife doesn't already have other plans for us

Guys I went out there yesterday and checked out the lakes. Rhodes is way way low. As in, I wouldnt try to fish it low. Black Creek, Cottonwood, and Clear Lake are all a little low but fishable. I put in at Clear and Socks would have beaten me for my efforts last night by a long shot...
Getting to the Pick up Fix ups lot is tricky especially if you're coming from the south as I suspect most will be. FOR THIS REASON I AM CHANGING THE START LOCATION TO THE DAIRY QUEEN PARKING LOT. Heading north on 287 you can't miss it... Coming from 380 you'll have to turn south onto 287 and head back into town.

Shaun looking at that, there is no dairy queen in the pic... There's one Dairy Queen in Decatur. It's on the east/northbound side of 287 right dead smack in the middle of the Decatur, before you get to 380. You exit onto the frontage road and it's right there. There are signs that show you to exit for it and of course a large neon style highway sign that can be seen from a distance of a few miles. Really, if you're on 287 you can't miss it.
