I woke up early and couldn't sleep so I figured I would just get up. Heading out to fish soon.

Got this guy this morning - 2.5LB. Check out his gills. He was missing part of the outer portion.

We went..we saw...We conqured.

Carlos Kicked it off with the first of many dinks. This was a dink sunrise.


Then he hooked a tree. NICE!


We got lots of these.

And someone got a good fish. She was only 18 inches, but VERY fat. It was great fight! My net man did a good job!


Good day on the water. When you can fish with your pals and catch a few its always fun. (all fish were let go to fight another day)

Well the gills are not that good LOL but the it looks to be good to go as he is. Dam I dont keep all the fish I catch anyway. Drop the DBE man I want respect.

Well I don't fish as much as you think at all I have not been out in the last month at all. In fact its been at least three weeks that I have even looked at my fishing pole My boat has not hit the water in the last 2 months I don't like heat and so well I gutted our main bathroom and thats what I have been doing at the least the house has AC LOL. It cool as I have posted I sure like to see the photos that you all post.

Today was fun and the heat wasnt too too bad. My game plan was to throw a sexy shad crankbait and a sexy shad swimbait most of the day to then finesse if the bite was slow.


I landed this dink on my first cast.


I saw all of this structure and submerged trees in about 3foot or less of water and decided to switch it up to squarebills, (which id my favorite type of crankbait to throw)




I bounced that squarebill crankbait off every tree and defelcted it all off every stump i could find. Had some bites and lost two right at the boat. Good fun day crankbaiting. My kinda fishing.
