Mine is soft plastics and crank baits. My plastics organizer is 3x the size it is supposed to be and I have more in the closet. Most of the packages were only opened to let the air out so they will fit in the organizer. I've also had to buy extra boxes for all the crank baits. And then while buying those extra lures, I end up buying more worm hooks and more treble hooks to replace the ones on the CBs.
In space, nobody can hear you scream for ice cream.

Yep, I am an admitted tackle junkie.. My boat is full, one wall of my garage has a peg board system that is full and I have a 7' X 7' Rubbermaid brand shed in the back yard for my "extra" tackle and I still pick up on something most of the time when I go to the lake. Its a sickness......but when im ready to retire, I will be able to open a tackle shop.

If only I had the money to spend away on tackle! I have to be pretty selective with what I fish. Sometimes I think bringing less with you to the water helps out a lot and gets you to trust other lures!

Every time I hook that boat to the hitch- the truck gets gassed the boat gets gas and I get coffee and a sweet roll for the road.
As for tackle goodies- I prefer to toss an empty hook to the fishies, it cuts down on spending a ton of money on drowning plastics.

I have probably bought tackle 20 times and I have bought 2 rods and 1 reel since the LAST TIME I went fishing! It seems like when I get busy and am unable to fish I buy way more tackle and this year I have fished less than ever before.

I used to have that "Affliction". Moved to Lake Palestine, after carrying everything down to the boat, then back to house when done fishing...started narrowing down my choices.....and still catching as many fish. Sometimes it's easier because of LESS choices....hmmmmmmm??

Academy had those baits that one the classic on sale for 1.88 and then 30% off of that yesterday. I think they are called otters.
Just trying to remember to turn my lights off backing down the ramp!

Yeah I buy something different everytime I go to tackle store and use the same thing everytime I go fishing. I have the same problem
I can't fish for the strippers anymore. I don't have a rod stiff enough and they pull too damn hard.

I have a third stall garage that look like an academy store! Unfortunately, this ^^^ would no longer take very much. They've let their fishing department shrink W-A-Y down from what it used to be. I used to "need" something before every trip. It seemed like I was always needing to re-spool my reels, or pick up a couple of baits I was "missing." Now I feel pretty good about having what i "need" most of the time. However, it never fails that my fishing partner ALWAYS has great success with some bait I don't have so...well, you know the rest of story.
