Nice rios. Good to see the ones in the Guadalupe are biting again. I've seen big schools of them but they wouldn't bite anything.

Thanks Guys for the replies. "Gotreal": PM's sent. Hope you get to make it down. The Rio action should be good from now until the first cold front. hooked "mynamehere": You will start seeing a lot more Rios schooling especially on the creeks. They are getting more active each day. eeks "Txwhitacre": Appreciate that. Also the same here. I really enjoy reading your post as well. cheers Mark: The water was clear in most areas and stained in others. Will PM you the exact location where we were fishing. fish

Good job banker. Saturday, my son and I went to Dunlap, and I was using live worms and specifically targeting Rios. Not a one. All I could manage was a couple bluegills. My son was bass fishing and he had 5 hookups, with one being almost 4 pounds. First time fishing Dunlap in quite a few years, and it was nice.

Thanks "Gitter", "Paparon" and Bernard for the replies. cheers Bernard: For me Dunlap has been slow to fair this summer as for the Rios and big Sunfish. I have fished Dunlap a lot this year and have had some good days. thumb Most of the time the Rio and Sunfish fishing as been slow and you really had to work hard to get a few big ones. nuts I think the fishing should improve for both the Rios and Sunfish (Big Ones) during September and October. dance2 Right now the Creeks and small Rivers are very active and the Rio bite is on fire. hooked The Rios are hugging close to the banks and are usually by some sort of structure such as a brush pile or dock. Will PM you some good locations to catch a few Rios. fish
