Fish any lake in LBJ Grasslands. TPWD laws used while on water.
5 fish total length (mouth closed in pics).
$5.00 entry and 5.00 big bass.
For those who just want to fish and get together you are more then welcome to come out. You do not have to fish club tourney.
Weigh-in at Black Creek park 1:30. 1st club meeting to follow!

undecided, Are we doing a potluck guys? If yes, something simple like HotDogs its up to you guys.

I am in and will be there. Potluck might be tough to leave in the truck all day while we are fishing. But if someone has a good solution to this i will bring something for the meeting.

Also, 5am shotgun start...does that mean you can launch as soon as you get to your lake? Or do we have to wait to allow time for guys driving further? (this is the rule i broke before so i want to make sure this time )

Oh heres another go at the logo.Tried a different paddle,and to make it cleaner...Someone may need to clean it up better than I....I need to play in illistrator with it,but Im pretty weak in that program:/
So if anyone can make it better please have at it!...and Ill see what I can do as well.

Again, from the other thread. This is how I'll be scoring the fish as the judge...

Gonna just clarify a few things... I'm gonna judge this thing, so I won't be fishing in the tourney this time... We will talk about judges participating at the meeting afterwards, but just to get it all started I won't... Here are the rules:

-LBJ Grasslands Lakes only

-Artificials only (yes you guys can throw the A-Rig if you must)...

-One line in the water at a time, fishing only from kayak...

-Human-powered kayaks and canoes only (sorry tubers if you're reading, but we're trying to promote a kayak bass club)...

-CPR only, identifier in pic, in kayak...

-MOUTH CLOSED, TAIL NOT PINCHED OR CURLED, like on KBF. Open mouths or pinched and curved tails will receive two inch deductions... Here's an example of how I might score a fish...

mouth closed (LEGAL and good to go)- 16.50


mouth open (penalized 2 inches)- 17.00 - 2.00 = 15.00

I'd be up for a sticker as well! I think either Ren or Chess has a source, plus someone posted up that they could do it (after the last GTG).

Going to say hold off on the pot luck till decide how or if it is something we want to do. Unless it is something y'all wanted then we will make it happen. So let us know.
