This time of year at Fork I always fish the heat of the day. 2-7 or thereabouts. More numbers and bigger fish for me. However, I've not been out in it much this year. Fished with Pack two weeks ago Thursday and Lance on Friday. It was 106 and no wind on Friday. I got heat exhaustion that day and have sworn off heat of the day, now. If you're in it every day, dress and hydrate for it, it's doable. If not, wait for cooler temps!

Some hot weather tips
drink lots of water, have plenty of water and ice on the boat
Cover your head and neck with a wide brim hat ,I cover my neck
and ears with a Simms sun gaiter ,long sleeve shirt
and sun screen everywhere else
Eat light food before and during the day
drive around to cool off
