I like the Cherrywood in the Med &Med Hvy with the H20 Mettle. What a great setup for $39. I use it for about everything.
Yes the tips are a little brittle if stepped on, but a new tip eye makes them just a little stiffer and great for larger plugs and catfishin.
Every rod in my boa is a CW.

Learned my lesson about them Cherrywoods lol. I broke 3 since this post. and that is not with a lot of use. Got 3 new Crappie Maxx now.

I have a broken Cherrywood in the garage. It was 5 1/2 foot with a pistol grip. The tip broke off several years ago so I used wire cutters to cut it down to the next eye and have kept it as a backup for the kid's fishing rods. I have not bought another one even though they are only $10.
