BTW, both of the fish pictured above were caught right here in TEXAS. In fact, the Carp Anglers Group is getting ready to hold it's 4th Annual Austin Team Championships on Town Lake. We'd love to have you come to visit or compete.

WOW carpaholic, your name is truly fitting. Those are AWSOME fish. How big are those?

John 5:24 Very truly I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

1Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.

Thanks for the Comparison pics, Brian! As I mentioned, I was pretty sure that was a buffalo pictured in the link. Poor guy probably thinks he's beaten the state record by 30+ pounds only to find out he's actually 20 pounds UNDER. Still, awesome fish. Whats the weight on those in your pictures, Brian? And just out of curiosity, what are your personal best carp and buffalo, if you don't mind sharing.

Mine are no where near as big as yours, 23 pound carp and 15 pound buffalo so far, but I'll beat that soon enough I hope hehe.

The carp is 39 lb 8 oz and the smallmouth buff is 37 lb 8 oz. I'm still looking to break 40 on each species. Had several thirty plus though. Town Lake is the place to do it. I know several guys and a couple of ladies who have caught carp over 40 lbs from Town Lake. Also have seen a few smallmouth buffalo pushing 60 lb!

Here's a pic of Missy with her 40 lb carp!

Thanks Brian! Nice to know. I'm sure you'll probably break 40 on each of them, then you'll have to go for 50! Lol. That's a real brute she's got in that picture, too. Seems like I may have to make a trip to Town Lake some time.
