I'll be out there in the mornin Sooner. Blue suntracker pontoon. I'm about to rest up. I haven't found a consistent bite in the last couple weeks other than finding top water action or casting into the outflow at the power plant. I'm hopin this weather change makes for something different tomorrow.

tried all the usual spots. really only got on them at power plant. had to weed thru lots of dinks.
probably caught 60 - 75 fish. kept 15 to cook for my guests.
really nice weather early. almost chilly
did well on chartreuse tail spinner. 1/4 ox red head roadrunner with chartreuse grub. not a bite on white feathered roadrunners.
caught some better quality fish on chrome rattle trap.

It was kind of tough goin out there today. Got on em a bit around 8:30 am by the Glass House. They actually surfaced a bit for about a half hour. Bunch of dinks, a few 10's but we left em when the bite slowed and went lookin for bigger fish. Never found em though. The power plant has even been pretty hit or miss lately. Awesome weather out there today though!

What's up guys? Anyone been catchin lately? I've been grabbin maybe 5-20 keepers each time out. Usually off the glass house or by Lavonia where the dam is. I've been avoiding the power plant just cause I hate anchoring. All in all some days are ok some days r bad. Certainly not as easy as it was early summer

They are hiding again. Very tough to hit a limit on them as of three weeks ago when the lake turned over. 30-50 per trip is all but that's really really hitting them hard. Crappie r doing better......

Made it back to Ticky Creek and took the kayaks and fished the Point. Caught White Bass with three Keepers this time! Also, saw a lot of insects floating on the surface. Noticed little Catfish feeding on them. Cool stuff! Yesterday's Video.

Went back for more kayak fishing at Ticky Creek Monday; more White Bass but no Keepers this time. Did get a few action shots of the pole bending when the fish struck while trolling! Fun stuff! Yesterday's Video.

Fished Ticky Creek again for another round of kayak fishing. Worked the area off the beach this time; caught undersized White Bass and no Keepers this time. One was caught well within casting distance from shore. Today's Video.

Brought Surfcasting Gear this evening (Thursday) and fished from the bank at Clear Lake Park on Lake Lavon. Had noticed that the White Bass were in surfcasting distance while kayak fishing last weekend. Started fishing a Weight and Jig Rig with Tandem Crappie Jigs. No strikes for an hour, then switched to a Slab and Jig Rig. Managed to catch four White Bass (undersized) and one Gaspergou! Fun stuff! Video Clip

Thanks knicca! Took the kayaks Friday and trolled jigs round Clear Lake Park on Lake Lavon. Slower action compared to the other day we kayak fished. Managed undersized White Bass on Red/White Crappie Jigs. Video Clip.

Was a scorcher yesterday, decided to hit Lake Lavon at Clear Lake. Slow action with undersized White Bass caught. But, did get a few hard strikes (likely would have been Keepers) but failed to set the hook. Video Clip.
