I was out Tuesday morning (Lewisville) around the Dam and two boats fly right in and start casting over my line like they have never caught fish before. They both snagged my line and I simply reeled fast and jerked hard trying to rip the rod out of there hand. One boy cranked up the big motor less than 20' feet from me and others and punched it. I yelled out Hey!!! and he shouted back FU. I simply trolled over to were he went which was 60 yards away and he never said a word....

Why do people got to be so inconsiderate? Fishing is supposed to be peaceful and relaxing not a battle ground for fishing spots.

Fishing at Lewisville is too frustrating- was out Saturday as well and got tired of almost getting run over by either big ski boats that decided they wanted to fish or fishing boat with the trolling motor down in the water but the big motor fired up so they could move 20 feet--Ill stick to Bridgeport or Benbrook.

Gents... In the not so exact words of Ron Washington..."that's the way Lewisville go".......

You really only find boat shows that get thick in the summer months on LL. I do not have a problem with them because I refuse to join them. I try to pride myself with an ability to read my graph and fish where there is less pressure.

Right now there is every donkey in the Metroplex just chasing top water for these stupid dink sand bass. Its mostly weekend warriors, lesser fishermen, and the occasional party cruiser with fishermen on the back deck. you would be amazed with the quality of hybrids that are no where near this mess.

I was there Tuesday with some friends by the dam as well,they were new to fishing and had never seen sandies running. I didn't see any cussing going on maybe I missed it. Was heading towards one school with main motor on slow (trolling motor went down for the day) and one guy moved his hand to signal :slow down:, I did and we were all fine, He didnt get mad I didn't cus at him .Got caught in a line with one guy due to wind and we said it happens no biggie, Seemed like everyone one was pretty friendly that morning, wish other days were like that. Why do people get so pissed LOL your not working, your on a boat what could be better.

it's a bubble thing. kind of like when someone gets too close when they are talking to you. get out my bubble son!

the dinks arent worth that much trouble...there is almost always fish on one of the 10 to 15 VERY WELL known spots.

I do like these posts though... it helps keep the traffic down
