I am thankful for my fairly nice boat. I just wish I had time to take it out. It has not been out of the storage unit to go fiahing in 3-4 months!

You be thankful of your free time. I remember when I was younger, newly wed., in school and I THOUGHT I was busy then LOL.

I "Have" just almost the SAME boat. Used to carry it by hand down to the water and go fishing. Not sure why you feel you cannot fish from it. Yeah it is a bit more labor, and slow but it will get you out there, mine did.
It even grew into Tracker Panfish. Yes it grew.. so to say.
I took my wife out on it and she saw me have so much fun and risk my life doing so, that she decided I needed something a bit safer to fish from. I choose the PanFish cause I wanted to stay small. OH, and I Love my iPilot.
I still have the dink, and with my main lake about to go so dry no one can launch, I figure I might be able to carry it to the water and be one of few if not the only boat on the water.

Keep dreaming they can and do sometimes come true. Best luck getting a nice boat.
But remember even a dink gets you off the shoreline, and can even get into places some boats can't.

Course I hope I do not need it again. But it does look nice sitting there.

Driving off the lot from a dealer or driving away from someones house in tow with a boat...what a feeling is to know she's yours.
I'm very proud of mine and very blessed to have a nice boat. It has brought a lot of people together that probably wouldn't have been in the same place. It definiatly has helped in making some great memories.

Let me tell you something about that boat. I have one of those as well. Mine is a 1951 Lonestar with a 15 H.P. Evinrude on it. On a perfectly calm day I GPS'd 17 MPH. It was by Grandfather's fishing boat and the boat I learned to waterski behind back in the 70's. I am extremely greatful to now call the boat mine and will never ever get rid of it and I still fish out of it even though I have a bigger fishing rig now.

I have fished with it on big lakes and it works great until the wind gets of 20 MPH. I learned where all of the ramps were close to the fishing holes I liked.

Love that boat.

I have a boat that looksalot like that. And right now the 25 hp motor is down. My wife thinks I should fix it before I put any money into my 20 I skeeter because I use it to put out brush which I pile up on the side of driveway. But I tell her that the brush is a tax shelter. LOL it makes the front look like hec and they wont increase the value of the place. LOL I love those small v boats for catfishin and bay fishin. Nice one.

My first boat was $30 at a garage sale, LOL!! I was thankful for it and caught a ton of fish out of it. Since then I have worked my tail off, bought and sold a couple boats and each time bought patiently, kept them for a year or 2 and made money. And each time I have upgraded , and finally 13 months ago I purchased the boat I always dreamed of owning. I am thankful each and everyday that I was blessed to have a boat at all.

PS: not all those fancy boat are just for looks, some catch a lot of fish.. lol
