Thanks to some piece of [censored] thief or thieves, I am now without my Humminbird 1197c SI Combo unit. I do have insurance, but it still just blisters my rear end. If any one runs into one online or at a pawn shop or whatever, here is the serial number to my unit...#8032706-0013. I would really appreciate a heads-up.

One of these days one of these scumbags will run in to some Texas justice. Hate to say it but might be what it takes. Some of us work hard for our stuff some hardly work and take our stuff. Sign of the times.

Was the unit on you boat at the time? I kept my rigs in the garage but I kept my electronics in the house partly because of thieves; if my door was up you could see my rig from the street, and partly because if you leave them plugged in eventually the connections will corrode.
I saw more than one person get their electronics stolen one day @ Axton's @ Fork in the broad daylight with people standing around everywhere because a Honey Hole weigh in was going on and from then on when I pulled off to the side at the ramp to tie things down for the trip home I took them off and put them in the cab of the truck......Believe me crystal meth junkies know what this stuff is worth......Hope your insurance covers it all.........let us know how it turns out......and one other thing......... you may want to watch the local craigs list listings and E-bay.......

Man I hate to hear that. I have said it once I say it again one of the things I cant stand in this world is Thieves! I can not absolutely stand it!! Even if it is not mine I don't care it really chaps me! I will keep a look out man! Every one of us on here have worked hard for what we got. (But we didnt do it alone)... Hmm I have heard this beofre in the media....wow maybe I shouldnt got that far...but that is the kind of thought process thieves have...They think they are entitled to it. They do not know how it feels to get something taken from them becasue they have never worked for anything in their life!!...UGH! Sorry again man...

I took it to a friend of mine who has a boat repair shop in Flint, Tx. His shop was broke into last night. I think 3 or 4 graphs were stolen. My fault for leaving it on the boat, but I have never had a problem at his shop. Plus, I had a lock on the graph, so they beat the mess out of it with a hammer to break the lock and broke my windshield, also.

Make sure your local law enforcement get that serial # to detectives they should have data base connected nationwide to all pawnshops.

Sad to hear. Person will get it one day. He will rob the wrong place at the wrong time.
