Wow! Today was FUN!!! I'm very new to boat fishing and have never seen the fish boiling up like that before! I'm not sure what time it started but we saw a few boats chasin em at about 10:30 in between avalon and glass house so we pulled up n joined in! Lots of top water action all over the place. Caught about 65 in 45 minutes before we got too hot and called it a day. The morning was really slow so it was nice to really get on em b4 we called it quits! Caught the 2 in the pic on the same cast!

Also, I met Plano Keith today. Of course he was on the fish when we showed up lol! Very nice to meet you PK. Glad u found em today!

I went out last Saturday and put a hurting on them. the biggest ones I have caught out of Lavon. They were biting right off Lavonia, schooled for about 2 good hours. probably caught around 75-100. Even threw out a slab with two jigs above, talk about fun. Kept about 15 for the freezer.

It's been a little strange out there since this crazy heat moved in. Other than the boiling on Saturday, it's been tough to get em to bite. I went out Sunday morning and yesterday evening and certainly didn't put a hurtin on em but caught a few here n there. Mostly keepers though, weirdly enough! Both weekend mornings and yesterday evening I've been graphing what looks to me to certainly be fish but they don't seem to be feeding much.

Just wanted y'all to know, not every day is awesome for me

Got on em good today!!! It wa nice to find them boiling again. I started off the day at Glass House, the Baptist church place and then by the cut with little success. Shot on over towards the railroad and before we got there we ran right into them. It wasn't hard to notice since about 3 other boats had already found em lol. But for about 45 minutes I'd say 9:30 - 10:15 they were feeding hard and we were doublin up and havin a blast. Took home 12 good eaters

Yea Mike I saw y'all I waved a couple of times but no one saw me and no one waved back frown I got in on the last ten minutes of it and only caught about 10 to 15 babies. I found them later over buy the boat ramp but they were little. One cat and a Black bass.

Glad yall got on them today. I missed out this morning cause I slept in. The boys kept me up too late last night. I was out Saturday monrnin, but it was WAY too windy. Found some at the baptist camp, but called it a day shortly after I got there.

I was over there with you guys. We fished the area for about 45 min or so with out a bite & were about to leave to try another spot when they started boiling. Glad we didn't miss that. I think I talked to you Keith. My son was so excited & was trying to tell you about the fish in the live well (if that was you?). He had a blast catching doubles. We kept about 15 really good size sandbass for a fry.

Was that you JSIG?? Man I am sorry I didn't recognize your boat. Man good to see you all. Your son was so excited I loved hearing him hooping and a hollering when he caught one. Good to see you and next time I will be sure and chat for a spell thumb Glad you and your son and crew had a good time. See you soon smile

Yep, that was us. I didn't realize that might have been you until after you past. My boy had a blast. He's doing real well for 5 years old. We got him on some stripers a few weeks ago on Texoma & yesterday doubles on some good sized sandies. I think I've created a monster now. Good seeing you out there and it was good to see a group of fishing boats playing nice and having fun and not a bunch of big motor chasing. smile
