Looks like one of those bi-planes the Wright brothers were flying.

I belive it is a flat bottom boat, my SD card is not best so the details are not as clear as shown on my display screen. On the display screen you can see the ribs on the botton of the boat much clearer. The fuzzy stuff toward the bottom of the picture is a rock pile with a few crappie mixed in. The cloud in the water coulmn is prop wash. If I raise it, is it finders keepers?

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Actually I'm pretty sure its a piece of walkway from a marina. I've found and recovered several in the past. The beavers dig out the styrafoam until the units will sink. There's one at Lewisville near the fishing barge that looks just like this one. Divers checked it and it is part of a metal walkway.

So is it easier to view downimage with Sonar to get a quicker read of things on the sonar then check it with the downimage?

It helps to have both views up, sometimmes one shows something that the other misses. Sometimes the side scan image is the best one.

i totally agree with that ! we use a cheap hummingbird , a little common sense ......and a general knowledge of fish.....couple that with 3 or so times a week on the water .....bingo .....we target crappie .....and i have pictures ! LOL anybody here ever caught black crappie with a "racing" stripe .....or what we call a "mohawk" coloration ? Strange you should mention the 'mohawk' stripe. Caught three today and all looked like triplets....didn't weigh them but, guess they were within an oz of each other and just shy of 14" long...nice fish and very healthy looking...cleaned very well too!
