guys, sorry i haven't gotten another note out about the trip yet, been kinda busy with the process of building a pool at the house... i will have a note out this week to discuss the details of the trip... looking forward to catching some fish and drinking some frozen drinks... ^_^

Blackfins are pretty much an incidental catch inshore from the floaters and deep platforms right now. The new shrimping season begins this Sunday and you normally have to figure it takes at least 2-3 weeks for the boats to start working in waters deep enough to attract and hold tuna. Hopefully this will be happening by the time we set sail on August 4.

What's up everyone . I need a little help if anyone has time . What type of lures and hook's do i need ? I have been busy working and the only way I'm going to be able to shop is on line but i need to get stuff ordered so it has time to ship . All help is appreciated . I saw something about diamond jig's and looked them up on e bay and it looks like they don't come with a hook . What size hook does it need ? Also is it a Trebile hook ?
