I kicked out 7 people from lost creek today. Had chairs, beer, minnows, cooler, batterie powered fan. Camped out on the deep hole in lost creek. They had a nice stringer going too! Now there are 9 fish in that hole. Looks like they had 20-30 on the stringer. Told them all, fish were dead, so they left with the stringer. And no, I didn't call the warden. I stopped doing that years ago. They never come. They just drive on by..... There will be 4200 more trout next week to take. It will never change. The river is set up wrong. Change the zones a bit and this might change everything up. IMO.

I see it every week. I watch them stock lost creek on a Thursday and saw over 100 dumped in the deep hole in LC. Came back Saturday mooring, barley any trout left in the pocket. And where do u think they went? Complain all you want, won't change though.

4200 fish every 2 weeks keeps my tally's up over 50-100 fish per full days fishing , so really I don't see a shortage in fish here ever.

I could ramble on and on about things that are def wrong with the river, till those are changed, people will bait fish the red zones on a daily basis.

Carey, You must have been there when my wife and I were there! We were in a white 4x4 sitting near lost creek right at sun-up. we fished the area below the big pool that most fish right off the road (don't know the name of it).

Did O.K. with a olive neardeer before the crowds showed up about an hour later and shouldered in all around us.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!

Carey-

I couldn't agree with you more. Sometimes, I get so P***** off at the bait fishers, and the lack of rules enforcement at Beavers Bend Park that I just pack up and go back to the hotel and take a nap if I can. I stopped calling the wardens because they never show up or write any citations.

It makes me wonder about the park management and if they care. Perhaps they're using the fish as a "lure" to get people to come and spend money in the park or Hochatown businesses. Sure, we stocked today, and come take all that you want, and use any method you want. We won't give you a citation.

I will only go to the park during weekdays, no way on the weekends.

Ok, now that I vented, time to get off of my soap box.

Bill

I think that may be as close to the truth as any explanation I have heard to date. Sad but true.
