Even with the north wind blowing 15 miles a hour, We still put the two man limit the boat. We were very limited on where we could Crappie fish so we didn't do too hot on those today. Limited out on sand bass within the half an hour and left them biting.

Anne and Bob tore the Sandbass a new rear end today. They were super amazed every time they drop down they would pull up 2 fish on the end of their line. Yesterday I put on eight jigs and sunk it down into the school and pulled up seven keepers.

I think I can put 25 jigs on 50 pound Braid, and Everyone will limit on one drop. I think that would be a two-minute limit. .......- or less.

Carey, which launch are you using? Has the lake risen from the recent rains?

I always use east fork park. Cove side ramp. After you enter the park, take your last right-hand turn and follow that to the far right-hand side of the park. Lake is 8 ft low. Ramps are all good

Limited 3 man 75 fish in 1/2 hour. Hit a channel cat hole and had a bite every 1-2 mins. Kept the 20 inchers.

Sand bass were 12-14 inches average. Left them biting to hit the channel cats and had consistent action on them.

Today, the rain held us off till 10 am or so. North wind again made it a bit tough and the fish were on the move. They were traveling hump to hump and wouldn't settle down. So instead of chasing them and dropping bouies every 5 mins, we parked on a hump and just waited till they would pass through. Caught a bunch of blue catfish by dangling a piece of cut shad over the side one crank off the bottom.

No hero picture today. Clients didn't care about it so I didn't have to mess with it. Landed well over 500 fish from 615 till 11. Left them biting. Lots of eater blues all over the humps swimming with the sand bass as well. If you dangle a cut shad Over the side of the boat one crank off the bottom while you're slabbing for the Sandbass you'll pick off a blue cat every 2 to 3 minutes. Silver dollar sized chunks. Otherwise quarter ounce slabs are key, if you go any higher than that your ratio goes way down
