Thanks "Gitter" for the reply. I have fished Black Brush Cove both from the bank and in a boat. Was fishing for Bass but did manage to catch a few small Gills. I did notice towards the back of the cove there was some shallow water. That may be good during this time of year. That lake is so big the Rios can be just about anywhere. hide2

Side Note: I just checked my meter and I got a little over one inch of rain. This will really help the local creeks. banana

Got a little over one inch of rain. Friend of mine living on the Northwest side barley got a quarter if an inch of rain. Looks like some parts of the area got more than others. hmmm

I talked to a guy today who said he had caught Rios back up the devils river, and when the lake was full, back in Evans creek as far as he could get. I fished Evans a lot last year and didn't notice any, but I was bass fishing. He also mentioned black brush.

Side Note: Just got over two inches of rain here on the Northeast side of San Antonio. Looks like the local creeks and lakes got a super jolt of some badly needed rain! banana banana

2.50 inches of rain in the meter. Northeast side of San Antonio. I heard New Braunfels and San Marcus got a lot of rain also. That makes a total of 3.50" of rain for the week. banana

I got just under a quarter of an inch. Went by the Cibolo just outside Schertz. Still muddy but clearing up. Should be OK by Mid week if there is no more run off. I totally agree that creek fishing is really going to be on fire the rest of the summer and into fall. hooked
