All of my best piles are overrun with bluegill! Minnows eyes are missing, tails bitten off. We caught a few of them. What do you guys do when you're only getting bit by bream?

Downsize my setup and catch a whole mess of 'em!   I smell skunk so much when I get to fish... I don't have any great advice for ya. Sorry!

I'm with spin, take off the jigs put on crickets and go to town on the bream. They're almost as good as crappies.

Small hook baited with a crappie nibble or worms should do the trick. Sometimes they prefer one over the other so just experiment and see what they want. After you catch em throw em in the livewell and put em on a big hook. Nothing better than catching a big yella kitty.

Plus #1. Pick up a Shakespeare ultra light combo from Acadamey. They are about $15.00. Put a size 6 cricket hook and small shot on it. Get a box of night crawlers and go to work. Other than a mess of Crappie Blue Gills are hard to beat.
