Other than sipping lemonade and vodka in the air conditioning, what is your favorite summer pattern. I guess, what I'm asking is: If the bass are hitting your favorite summer pattern, how would you be fishing?

I like drop-shotting in the summer. I don't really know why I prefer it during the summer over other styles of fishing, but I do.

HOLLOW BODY FROGS! hands down I guess the most exciting bite on the water for me. Heck Im even catching a few fish in the afternoons on them when I work em just right over a big ole hole in the slop...next more conventional is the Santone swim jig in sloppy joe or toledo perch colors worked over the submerged hydrilla beds.

Flipping to the heavy stuff be it grass or wood. I love getting that thunk from a big fish.

Yep. But this isn't just summer for me, I very seldom ever spend a day on the lake without doing some flipping

Where I typically fish if I'm not flipping I'm cranking.
