I've heard reports of catching smallmouth on the Brazos just below the dam at PK
This might be the weirdest, most pointless post ever.  I am not against golf, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering fishing

Yes below PK has them, caught six one day last summer. They were small though.

I've caught them below pk and Whitney this year. Nothing big though. Texoma would probably be your best bet
