Easy fellers. I was joking about the lip and the ground. Sarcasm directed at the PETA huggers.

If lipping a fish will do damage how much damage do you think it does when raring back and setting the hook using 20 lb test line with extra heavy 7 and half foot rod. Hmmm. Bass are tough lipping a 3 pounder and gonna hurt a thing.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know when to go fishing.

Yea, I had a digital scale that got wet and that ruined it. If a fisherman is using it, it's gonna get wet. I bought a spring scale at academy, with a 10 lb wt it measures just about right. I'm not gonna weigh anything less. Hey Fouzman, whats a good way to handle a fish if you can't lip it ? The boga grip lips them. I always wet my hands. I feel the main thing is get them back in the water as soon as possible.
