Watch the video from the 2011 Classic. When he hooks one, he goes nuts trying to land it. He grabs and scoops at the fish like it has no hooks. Yup. He freaks out when he hooks a big fish. Part of the reason you see him lose so many and why he gets so many hooks in him.

But, if I was fishing for $100k or $500k Im going after them too, Ill deal with hooks in the hand later! But as far as Ike, Brandon's not really a show boater at all, he just wants that green fish in that boat, and I dont blame him!

But he does seem to be a slight spaz when he hooks them, but whatever works!!

I guess if you find as many quality schools of fish as he does, you can afford to lsoe a few or take time-outs to have hooks removed. He loves throwing those crankbaits to. That's about all I ever see him throw. Seems like a good dude, but he does get spastic when he hooks one.

Loosing fish on cranks, hooks in hands, all part of it and the fun!
As far as getting excited....they all do it....well minus KVD...his heart rate remains constant. LOL! I think he's more robot or machine than human. Shoot his hair style even stays the same all day long!

The only two times ive seen somebody get hooked was from reaching into a net to get a bass lol. I dont see how that helps any cause you still got a largmouth with trebles to deal with. I think its just part of the game. That kid is talented at hooking things thats for sure!

I wonder if they have insurance. A smart fella that works for an insurance company might come up with a policy or rider for that. It's got to cost a small chunk of change for the ER visit, the shot to the hand, the $300 bandaid, and oh, the $50 tylenol. Medical bills add up fast.
I sure miss the stump dodging on Lake Fork...But I'm coming back soon to catchOVER the slot! 👍🏾

Yea I love that guy. I don't think he would get excited if his head was on fire.
