brush hog, spray it with attractant and it slicks it up.
sometimes ill cut the little round arms off.

There is no perfect bait. Sometimes I flip beavers,tubes,craw worms,jigs, senkos,flukes,trick worms. Any bait can be flipped. The major players are the jig,tube and beaver but different times I year different baits are typically better
