broke a fish off on the hook set. set the rod down, and picked up the next available soft plastic. The same fish hit it, with the hook I just broke off hanging in it's lip. Bass are ravenous predators.

On Falcon I witnessed a 7 pounder jump off a crank bait and the guide put his head down in disgust and as soon as he starts reeling again that fish nails it again and we land it. At times they can be extremely aggressive, of course it helps we were on Falcon, lol.
