May not show up real well, but it's hard to get a good night photo of these. Added two white led light strips to the trailer. Trailer doesn't have brakes so I added a 5 pin plug and ran the reverse light wire to the back. Easy 30 minute install and these suckers really make a difference backing in on those dark unlit / poorly lit ramps.

well, unlike some gadgets you can put on your boat, this one has an immediate impact first time you line up on that dark ramp thumb

I'm surprised though Mike, no "pimpin" comment? grin

Great idea you had. I have had mine for a while now with no problems. Really helps on the dark ramps.

Thanks blu-ranger your install is nice and clean. I bought mine from mike at bluewater. Also got the idea from bbc. Mike ran a special on some seconds, thought I would use and abuse them. They have held up well. Also have red and blue under the gunnels. Red for fishing and the blue for mood lighting for the wife.

I've got the blue lights on the deck but never thought of them as mood lighting. Might have to give that a try sometime grin

Wow! That is a great idea.
I have a camper shell with tinted windows so seeing at night is even more difficult.
I do have brakes so I will have to come up with a different install.
I may run a hot wire with a toggle switch.
Any ideas on a simple install if you have brakes?
Can I just splice off of the brake wire (it is triggered by the backup lights)?

these would work great for backup lights.
easy to mount and more light than the ones from academy.
I have 2 of the ones from academy in the cockpit and they are not all that bright for backup lights.
