Please dont get on here and try to bash our tournament. Are you aware that for the past 2 saturday evenings that the winds were 20-30 mph? Not to mention most people have plans for memorial day weekend? Most of us know better than to try to get out on that lake at night when there are high winds. nothing that we can do about that.

Please dont waste YOUR time coming back out or posting on this thread. All others, feel free to come out. These will go on the rest of the Summer. Keep in mind that if the weather is not safe, its quite possible that there wont be a turn out. If there are 3 boats or more, then the tournament is on for that night.

William displays one of the main reasons that our group is hesitant on trying to put together tournaments on this lake. there is always someone bashing and complaining, when all we are trying to do is set up a fun tournament for the local fisherman on Benbrook.

PS-William, If you would have showed up on time 05/19/12 then there would have been enough boats to fish and that nights tournament wouldnt have gotten called off.

Im not bashing your tournament. Just letting people know there is no one showing up. Some people drive a while to show up to a tournament when they could be going to a different tourney. Don't try to censor me for expressing what happened.

PS to you- I called a head and told them I was running late and they said come on anyway....I can pay and go out late.

And I have been one of the biggest supporters of this tourney trying to rally up support, posting it on other forums and "roll call" post.

3 boats fished, P-tail John took it all. dont hhave the weights in front of me but John had a big bass of 5 pounds.

Also, got the low down on your alledged cancelation of the 5/19/12 tournament...it wasnt canceled by the marina. There were 3 boats that showed at 6. They waited until 6:30, nobody else showed, and then they all agreed not to fish because of the WIND. The marina did not cancel anything, the anglers decided not to proceed because the lake was not safe to be on. Do us a favor and correct/delete your negative posts.

Pro Team, come on out! I talked to several anglers who plan to start making it out regularly starting the weekend after fathers day. lots of other tournaments and holidays have kept our regulars tied up lateley.

So far Chase and John are leading the series with 1 win a piece. The team or boat with the most wins at the end of the series wins the prize package mentioned above!
