And a built in smoker so you can cook your brisket and ribs while catching fish.

Heck if nothing else just get another set of pumps and a separate switch, they are light enough. Add a timer. This has been a thought for about 3 years now.

This is an OEM option on some boats and is also already an aftermarket add on.

But seriously, I think a Texas edition needs a bigger built in ice chest that will actually keep ice all day in 100 degree heat.

Yes, an insulated ice chest, that has copper imbedded in the walls, when you turn on the recirc pumps, it will pull water thru the coils and cool the water down. Have a shutoff valve when not needed.

This by far will be the most inovative.

Wrap it with a flowing Texas flag down the side on maybe a white/black and gunmetal gold paint scheme. Have a outlines of rayburn, fork, falcon, toledo bend etched into the dark brown or gray carpet throughout the boat. All seats in Kings ranch leather. Console in Mahogany and Chrome. If you really want to get crazy, maybe some silhouette likenesses of Earl Campbell, Tom Landry, Nolan Ryan, or whomever you choose inked into the side of the boat. Just my 2 cents. And on the trailer, definitely some 16 inch chrome TEXAS STAR WHEELS. Oh yeah, maybe some Prop nutz to hang off your lower unit. lol. Just kiddin' on that one.

  • Built in chip with Texas lakes loaded and ready.
  • Red, White and Blue color scheme to match our flag.
  • Air ride seats for those days the ride gets a little rough.
  • Yeti style/quality cooler that really keeps ice all day in the dog days of August.
  • Color coded slot limit ruler marked for typical Texas slot lakes and extends to 28 inches.

Charger has this (cooled live well water) in their Pro Air sysyem.. I have it in my old boat and used it for years.. They still offer it as an option.. And it works great..

The aftermarket is called Koolwell, and it also works well.. It has radiator looking panel you put in the bottom of your ice chest.. We experimented with it a few years back.. Takes a little work to instsll.. But works great..

Put a gun holster on the side of the console and call it a Texas edition.

who are we kidding. They could package a few things together that we would buy anyway, knock off a couple hundred bucks, and put a Texas Edition sticker on it. We would buy it.

But a smoker would be awesome.

Fishing bud bought a used 1995 487 Ranger, several years ago, that had Team Texas w/ red-white and blue long horn head decals all over it. Always wondered what that was all about.
