I find it hard to get them on artificials after mid spring. They seemed to like perch more than shad on sat.

Here is a map, This is pretty close showing the most of the timber areas, it is not exact but close enought to give an idea. I cant make the map any larger, so if someone here can feel free to help out

know what... you can try to get a trip with kerry dungan.. hes all about artifical baits... try to book and trip with him and he should set you up with some ways to get some fish off artifical baits... Thanks, I am all about artificial baits. Pretty simple on the live bait, Now, dont take me wrong...... Live bait works, but when I can put fish in the boat with out it, just makes for a better day.

See I used to think the same--then I saw some people who didn't know how--try to throw a cast net. It is still about being at the right place at the right time. There is a presentation issue with bait as well--do you anchor or drift? Sometimes one works and the other won't. Balloon rigs? If you think about it what is so hard about bouncing a piece of metal on the bottom of the lake?

Sometimes it all works, And sometimes nothing works Guess, truthfully, im just getting lazy and dont care to throw the net anymore.

Don't feel bad I'm in the same boat. I have a cheap black and white depth finder so I can't distinguish hybrids don ssndies from yellows so I might be presenting s large slab to some tiny sandies. But I'm not giving up just yet.

Kerry You forgot to put all your good way-points on that pic. That's because there are no fish in Benbrook
