The creek has gone down hill since last year after postings on the forum. Not to mention all the kids running around trying to catch ducks and their ducklings. As well as the guy (adult) that sits down by the Jupiter bridge with his dogs and throws every rock, golf ball and stick he can find into the water. I have seen him a handfull of times and swear I have seen him throw over a hundred objects into the water.

Duck Creek: You can go under the Jupiter bridge into Oakridge country club but be aware that it is posted NO FISHING.

Went out Wednesday, first light. Started up stream where I had caught some decent LMB and saw several bigger ones. Only caught 1 small LMB and the rest greenies or war mouth. Walked all the way upstream as far as you can go. Lots of algae, very clear, must cast ahead of you or they see you. Went up until I could go no further, looked like I was on private property but the fence stopped several feet before the creek and there weren't any signs. Caught good sized greenies until my arm was tired, caught a fish 3 out of every 4 casts. They hit small white spinner, jig/bobber and top water, very shallow maybe 2 feet deep max. Then I introduced my self to the owner. Nice guy just checking on me but he would prefer that people not fish in his back property, he owns the land both sides of the creek where the bike/jogging trail ends.

Hey fisher6688. I thought i'd post this after your post that your friend saw some nice fish in front of that drain. That storm drain you were talking about that goes across the street to the mall. Check out the hunker I pulled out of there. It grabbed my secret bait wink (it's already fished enough, wanna keep something in there to catch) right in front of that drain and carried it about five or six feet out from the drain before I finally set the hook and it was on from there. Put up a nice fight. Easily 3+ lbs and that's being modest. Had an older fella take a pic and said it was the biggest he'd ever seen come out of there.

I forget to mention that I DID release her back and watched her swim away just fine for me to catch her another day.;) I saw another one a little while ago that was easily just as big as her in there but still haven't caught anything close to matching that one I caught.
