When and if they do get my guns...they will most definitely be hot and empty.

We release the big females, but the males we eat. We also donate to alot of church and benefit fish fries. Once our freezers are filled each year we photo and release alot as well.

I used to noodle on Eufaula lake and we would use sticks to locate the fish in the holes. I talked to my local game warden and he said that this would be illegal for me to use a stick. I honestly don't think he new what he was talking about. The stick is not helping me land the fish at all. What is your understanding of this.

There are a whole lot of catfishermen who fish with trotlines that have never taken a haul like that!

Impressive!

Just one more cast!

We are wanting to host a noodling tournament in the Granbury, Hood County, Texas area sometime during the end of summer 2012. My sister just got through hosting a Noodling Tournament in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, and they have challenged Texas to a Red River Rumble. If any our awesome Texans are interested in showing Oklahoman's that "Even the Fish are BIGGER in Texas. Please let me know. The Red River is being planned for June 30, 2012.

OK guys, spoke with Brandi Reeder of the TPWD. She is the Assistant Cheif of fisheries enforcement. She has been informed as to this post and is your go to if you run into any problems.

Stringers are legal to retain your fish on. They may not however be used in any way in the aid of the capture of a fish. Only to be used to retain the fish once caught by hand.

Sticks may be used to identify and defend against dangerous species ie: snakes, gators, beavers, snapping turtles, wasps, etc. You cannot use them in any way to aid in the capture of the fish.

The question above on the fishing license. Make sure you have a freshwater endorsement.
