Just the time of year for Benbrook, Its fixing to "slow" down on the catch rate. Its also the time of year for the "play" traffic to show up, so it will still be crowded pretty much. This is the reason that i start running way earlier trips and then a later evenings, and even night trips this time of year, lot cooler then.

Caught a couple of hybrids today. A TON of people out there running the east side by the school. Not too many bait fish to follow... Not too bad for my first time on BB. Guess a few times out I might figure that place out a little bit more. The trees coming out of the cove south of longhorn were holding bait fish pretty good. All we could catch the few that we did was 15ft deep cranks. I think the majority were hanging around 25-30ft... If anyone knows please let me know if Im way off... water temp was 81-84.

That's not a white bass. That's a hybrid the bottom picture is either a hybrid or yellow bass can't really tell from the picture.

Good eye.. They were all released to be caught again. As we had a Fathers day lunch so we were only about about 2.5 hours or so this morning
