Come on guys, I've been working my regular job overtime, I haven't been out in awhile. Anyone still catching? Been seeing good fish pics up untill a couple weeks ago, haven't seen anything since. Guess its back to normal BB

I will be out there tomorrow morning. I don't think my report will be much use for you. I have only fished benbrook a handfull of times and from a kayak staying with the fish can be tough..If its like last week I won't have much to report.

You mean slapping the water? It might be a state record I was going to mount it but my wife said there was not enough room on our wall.lol still had fun.

Kerry,
Was there last Sunday with 6 people in the boat and the winds whipping up pretty good. The only place to fish with winds to 35mph was in Richardson's slough. I hung an anchor early and never moved. Fishing was fair. Caught 2 big hybrids and several smaller hybrids, 7lb green fish, several sandbass and crappie. Some fish schooling early. A bald eagle was fishing next to us. The only good about the wind was that it kept many of the nondesirables off the water.

Brian and Connor caught a few last weekend in Brian's new boat.
No whales just a few keeper Hybrids and some sand bass.

Good luck! Mike I wondered if that was you Sunday. I didn't know you had a T-top on the new boat. Nice set up. We were a couple hundred yards north of where you were. The I Pilot kept me in 1 spot but it wasn't very productive. 2 small hybrids was it. Tried drifting and lost 2 more. The rest of the lake was too rough.

Tony, I had to go back and re-read my post after that. I wasn't "busting" on anyone, I just hadn't seen anything about ole mother Benbrook in a couple weeks. Just, got used to alot of people posting pics of real good fish for awhile. Now, I haven't seen any here in the last several weeks.

Haven't fished her since I went out with my cousin I will hopefuLly be out there in next couple days between winds and storms and workouts have not had the motivation to get out there
