Always have a LFT Hyper Worm and Flipper on. Also a jig is a good way to explore new lakes. Finally a crankbait always works if you know the forage and match colors. Also, welcome to TFF.

I would use a TX rigged tequila shad or junebug 8" worm and a white spinnerbait to keep it simple.

BLACK AND BLUE JIG/ witha craw type trailer for trees, stumps, laydowns etc... Perch colored swim jig with a shad type swim bait trailer if fishing grass type stuff. Good luck on whatever you decide to do.

A drop shot will get ya bit....that or a shakey head. I wouldn't throw anything else if catching fish is your main objective. As for a bait...can't go wrong with a Grande Bass Rattlesnake on either or a Zoom Finesse worm. Good luck!!
