Myself and Mike "USMC_GY" decided to hit the local ponds and the fishing was simply on fire. We caught twelve Rios all over 10 inches. We also caught several nice Bluegill in the 8 inch range and a couple of very nice Bass. The largest being around 6 pounds and 23 inches long. All the Rios were drag pullers and they were super healthy and fat. We finished the pond fishing at around 11am and then hit some local creeks. The creek fishing was also on fire. Several nice bass and Rios were caught. A super day of pond and creek fishing with friends. It just don't get any better! fish

Side Note: Water was clear. Fish were caught on both live worms, Berkley Trout worms, Gulp Minnows and Gulp alive worms. All fish were released to fight again. The Big Bass was caught on a live Bluegill! Bottom, float, and drop shop methods were used. thumb

Thanks "Gitter" and "Comeonfish" for the replies. Gitter: I think the Rios are on nest in the ponds. They just don't have as many fish attacking em as they do on lakes and creeks. "Comeonfish". Those Bulls can fight and will give a ultra light a good workout. You should catch a bunch more of em this summer. hooked
