Lots of good boats listed above. Iv fished out of a trans port on the coast quite a few times and really like it. Iv been anywhere from 6" of skinny water to 30 miles offshore in it and it handled both of them really well. I saw Blazer Bay listed above. A neighbor of mine has one and iv fished out of it once at the coast and if fishes really well and is really nice. However, he is having problems with his hull and I would stay away from them.

Can't beat

Pathfinder
Shearwater
Or especially a yellowfin.

All really pricey but the best.

I am biased but I have to say Century. I have the 2400 Inshore and it is sweet. I have fished out of alot of other boats and the closest that comes to it is Shearwater.

If I was going to patrol where they work I would want it to be bullet proof and have a 50 cal on it.

Haven't heard anyone mention Polar / Tidecraft or Fishmaster. I was very impressed with the Polar. By the way, just sold my 19-1/2 CC and I'm now searching for a 22-24 foot with a 200 on it. Any help would be appreciated. Good fishing!

Check out the Pioneer 222 sportfish. I have a baysport the fit and finish is second to none and its a dry ride in heavy water.
