Just create a photobucket account and upload the pictures. Once uploaded, just copy and paste the image code into your post on the TFF.

Going to have some good pictures after this weekend, if the rain doesn't mess things up. I don't think we got enough to change the lake level any, but I definitely don't want my new holes to get any deeper. There's going to be a 40+ under that conrete slab, hell there may be two or three of them. Once I get done with that BassChamps on Saturday, its on like Donkey Kong!

A buddy of mine was told today by tpwd and a game warden in the county that you cannot use stringers when noodling in tx. Anybody heard this?

Doesn't say anything about the use of a stringer in the 2012 TPWD Rules and Regs. Just says you can't use a gaff, pole, hook, trap, or spear.

Or any other fishing device. Which I would say a stringer is. I Have personally talked to a Texas game warden and asked About using a stringer for noodling. And he told me that anything other than the use of your hands to land the fish is illegal. Be it stick, net, gaff or stringer.

So what if you're just using the stringer to hold/ carry the fish after you've caught him with your hands? Is that legal?

Im sure it is legal to stringer em after the fact, but I could see that being a slippery slope. I mean I would think That if a game warden saw me noodling and I had a fish on a stringer, that he might assume I used it to land the fish and I couldn't prove that I didn't. That's just me tho and I may be totally wrong.

I think that's a little extreme. Makes it awfully hard to noodle when you have to continuously hold a previously caught catfish in your other hand.

Like I said guys, the laws are vague at best right now. The wardens at the tournament said we could use the sticks we had, which were 4' 1/2" dowel rods. They also said that we could use stringers once the fish were caught. When I asked what the definition of caught was, when the fish gets into the boat. My response was, what if I'm not in a boat. After a few minutes of discusion, they agreed with me that once the fish was in hand and under control, the fish could be strung. My guess is you guys will have to define it to defend it. After we discussed with the game wardens what we carried sticks for and the importance of a stringer, they agreed it was OK. That is why I said not to use pvc, as it is used in hooking fish most of the time. If you guys aren't munipulating fish or otherwise looking suspicious, I don't think you will run into any problems.
