"Thank you Lord" Don't think Jesus is in the business of making big fish bite so that Elite series guys can win tournaments. Jesus is in the business of answering prayers. He wants you to succeed. Read Psalm 118:21, Psalm 66:17-20, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. In that order. Then go read Proverbs 28:9. I thank the Lord everyday for everything i do and have. I love that professional fisherman give the glory to God. +1- That is probably my most favorite fishing saying- I thank the Lord for family, health, the opportunity to fish and lots of other important things in life. Just think it's over done. Catching fish in a tournament is something I hope for not pray for. Guess I save my request for, what I consider, the bigger things in life. God wants us to thnk him for the little joys in life also. It when you give the little things to him that you truley trust in him.. My son had heard me say all these sayings but the time on the water with him is a blessing.. Thank you Lord...

Yeah right! You broke your rod before you broke it on the hook set, you just didn't know it yet. ^^^^ that is the dumbest right there!!!! if a cheap rod breaks on hookset .... it broke on hookset!!

15 minutes into the start of the tournament and your partner says "I gotta take a chit" This is usually me but if I don't have to chit I'm probably hungry.Maybe this is the reason for our failed season.

I love it when you stop to get gas, ice, water etc., and your putting gas in the boat and someone asks, Are you going fishing?
I want to say, no somebody welded that boat to the back of my truck and I have to drag it everywhere I go.

This should fall under this thread since you need it for fishing. Is when you buy a boat and some knuckle head chimes in with the " you know why boat stands for, break out another thousand. Gets old fast
