Anyone ever fish here? Seems like a decent sized body of water. About 27 acres

I grew up in prosper use to Fish it alot. there are some really good size bass in there also relly big crappie. I still go out there sometimes in my Kayak

In a neoghborhood called greenspoint. I believe it is one of the first parks of prosper. Its located a bit east of the intersection of 1st and coit. Opens google maps and search prosper town lake then you will find it. Its labeled as a soil conservation service site or something like that

That's one of those newer neighborhoods that wasn't around when I was there. That lake was on private property then I guess. I was wondering what you were talking about. There wasn't any public fishing in Prosper when I was there, but that doesn't mean we didn't sneak over a fence now and again to wet a line. I've caught many 3-5 pound bass in the ponds around the Prosper area, none of which we had permission to fish (I found out later, unfortunately...).

Yeah I just look for fences and avoid them. If there is no fence then it might as well be public! Just kiddin

I fish it almost every weekend from my 2 man boat. Biggest so far was a 9 lber on a bluegill colored red eye shad. Seen many DD's come out of there. Its been around since the late 1800's an old man told me

I caught about a 7 last Friday on a red 3xd over the grass. Plan on hitting it a couple more times this week

Can you keep and eat the fish or do they charge extra?

Yes, I have fished out there. Did it on my kayak when I had it once or twice, but never caught anything out in it. Yes, I have caught a 4-5 pounder out there. Good fishing (sometimes), lots of grass!
