Yea, I used to not pray for certain things but it says to pray everyday about everything. That's usually the only way I catch fish.

yeah I noticed if I don't say anything before I get to the water I don't even get a nibble. But when I do say something I atleast get a strike or two or if its ok with God ill hook a fish or two

Fished with a guy in a club tourney (random draw) once. It was super slow and neither one of us put a fish in the boat. He kept setting the hook and missing what he knew were fish. When he pulled his plastic worm up it wasn't pulled down on the hook at all. Everytime, he would say, "hmmm, must have bit the tail."

Yeah that's a good one, it's a lot like I keep bending hooks on my hook set......

Heard mine recently. Tried fishing out of my comfort zone(different bait, style, depth) about a month ago and only caught 1. I just felt clueless all afternoon, but was determined to try and learn and hoped that it would click. I got back to the launch and another guy was pulling his boat out of the water. You can see it on another fisherman like a bright orange jumpsuit. The look that they just killed them and they are going to ask everybody how they did (they don't really care, but they want you to ask them). And that is by far and away my least favorite saying. How did you do today? Oh, I struggled. I only caught 1. How did you do? I killed them. One of the best days I've ever had.

"I would have won today if my fish would have been biting!" Yea No carp, so would the rest of us...

That and "my fish left" Really...did they go into town or what?
