I'm guilty as anyone at times, but how many have you lost a fish, or partner has lost a fish, and the "if only we had that fish" has been said 100+ times before the day is over. My dad is the WORST at that. Gets on my nerves, BUT at the same time one of these days that's something I'm always gonna remember about the ole man.....

Well this is not a saying but it just "gets me" when people on here post a very short response and then add "nuff said". No, there is actually plenty more that needs to be said about whatever the topic is about.

Read Psalm 118:21, Psalm 66:17-20, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. In that order. Then go read Proverbs 28:9. I thank the Lord everyday for everything i do and have. I love that professional fisherman give the glory to God.

I love that professional fisherman give the glory to God. +1- That is probably my most favorite fishing saying- I thank the Lord for family, health, the opportunity to fish and lots of other important things in life. Just think it's over done. Catching fish in a tournament is something I hope for not pray for. Guess I save my request for, what I consider, the bigger things in life.

Professional fishermen are just that. Professional fishermen. I pray for success in my career like I'm sure most Christians do. I don't have the audience that they have but I always thank God. He gives what I need and if they need a win in a major tournament He will give it to them. There are alot of "sayings" that I could do without but this is not a saying. It's giving credit to the Almighty for what he has done.
