Sorry to hear about that Mike, hope you get back at it soon. Be thankful that your foot didn't get under the mower deck!

Sorry to hear about the fall man!

You need to see if there is a teenage boy in the neighborhood that will mow it for $10-15 so you minimize the chance of future injury. wink

Wow Mike! I concur with the post about getting a yard person! Allows more time for fishing! Maybe you can trade crappie for mowing?

Another possibility: you can spend time watching more YouTube's about fishing, possibly perfecting some new "something."

Anyway we will pray for your speedy recovery. And yes, I can vouch for the effectiveness of Aleve; works like magic for my old damaged back.

Sending thoughts and prayers. Maybe the wife will let you hire a yard boy and you can fish more once you heal.

Sorry to hear this, and I am one that understands back pain and how bad it can be. I have plates and screws along with fusions in my lower back. So I feel your pain and hope it's not as bad as they think.

May God Bless,

Good Luck with this!

ER doc decided I have a cracked or broken vertebrae in my lower back. Gotta' go see an orthopedic as soon as I can get in..no lifting or anything of the sort until further notice. I'm assuming that means no boat rides either mad

I'm more than a little PO'ed at myself to say nothing of the pain. Two shots of morphine plus a valium at the ER and I'm not even sleepy...Guess I'll have to live vicariously through ya'll for awhile.

I guess that's a fairly good reason that you didn't come to CC and fish with me this weekend. Oh well, guess I'll have to sell you seat sick
