I like the time and venue....Is this going to happen again this weekend or will it be cancelled? Who is running it?

Benbrook Marina is running this tournament. I'm guessing nobody showed up last Saturday and they decided to cancel it, but they'll have to confirm this as I was not there.


They probably made the call to cxl it shortly after 6pm if in fact no one else showed up.

I know they plan on doing these every Saturday till September, and there was talk about changing the time to 6pm-11pm, but again, they'll need to confirm...I'll give them a call and see if they can jump on here and respond.

thanks....Its funny, when I called up to the marina on the way, they said someone else was running it, not the marina.

I think 11 is better. Ill be at one after this weekend.

the tournament hours are changed to 6-11pm. the tournament directors are chase and pony tail john. the marina is in charge of the weigh in and collecting money.

if there are not atleast 3 boats by 6pm, that nights tournament is canceled.

i understand that chase was not able to make it last saturday due to prior obligations. the others choose not to come due to the 30 mph winds.

please note, the marina has the right to cancel at their discretion when the weather is dangerous.

Gentle Ben(brook)is the lake,and was interested in results of your torney 2 day later.It had not been posted so guessed G.Ben must have Skunked everybody.Would like to fish if it wasnt Sat. nights cant do it then.I fished the mid week W.M. when they were at Rock Cr.Marina and enjoyed them.
