I would like to throw a loud shout out to a very trustworthy member of TFF. John (aka) Aphac had palced a very large order with me and he needed it next day. His payment was a cashiers check. I normally do not ship orders until payment has been received but after reviewing John' (aka) Aphac' record here on the TFF and listening to our conversation on the phone I sent his order off without payment. He received his order the very next day and I received his payment the day after. This transaction just goes to show that trust is still a very big part of the TFF family and that is what the TFF was built on and continues to thrive at best. I know there have been some pretty bad deals done here and yes I could have been taken for a very long ride but I can usually tell if someone is dazzling me with brilliants or baffling me with bullSh*@. I do not do business this way normally. Just want to have everyone add Aphac to the good guy list.

Like many people, I buy lots of stuff on the net and have done so since businesses first began offing that service. However this was the first time I purchased an item from someone I saw on a forum. After reading many of David's reviews I decided to pull the trigger. Honesty and integrity are core principles in my moral code. It's nice to see that others, like David, share in these values.

What is interesting about this purchase from my perspective is that I originally attempted to acquire these items from thedigitaloasis.com. While this website had some negative reviews, I did not feel they were sufficient to deter my business. I placed the order on my credit card. It was charged and then the order was promptly put on hold. The reasons were:


The subsequent phone call from the vendor gave no indication of the problem with my transaction. After They would not tell me if I had a problem with my card or the purchase in general. Hell they had already charged the card. All they wanted to hear me say was to validate my address. I refused and canceled the order. The owner called me shortly thereafter trying to explain why he was right and I, and all customers, were to be treated as potential criminals. There is one line from this conversation sticks in my mind. He said, "I don't care if I upset any customer, as long and I don't lose any money". While I can appreciate his concern from a business perspective, I do know that you don't badger, abuse, and verbally belittle your customers. There are better ways!

As you can see , it was very refreshing to work with David after such an experience.

A big shout out for Spanky,, He did come out and fix my boat. Even after I worked on it again...

But after he left my dog showed up pregnant and the toilet wouldn't flush....just sayin
